Christina Cipriano, PhD: Study Results from Pandemic on Social-Emotional Health of Educators

At the start of the pandemic, Dr. Cipriano and her colleagues studied 5,000 educators across the country who expressed record rates of anxiety, frustration, and feelings of being overwhelmed and undervalued. Since then, they have surveyed 25,000 more with similar results and patterns. But they have also tracked educators’ increased levels of gratitude for their students and colleagues as well as for their schools and districts that are more readily recognizing and working to meet their needs.
